Over the next three days, there is planned industrial action by junior doctors who are members of the British Medical Association (BMA) and The Hospital Doctors' Union (HCSA) who work here at Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.
So, what do you need to know?
- There are tried and tested plans in place to mitigate risks to patient safety and manage disruption.
- Patients with greatest clinical need will be prioritised.
- Emergency care and other critical services will be open and life-threatening calls responded to.
- If you have not been contacted, please attend any appointments as planned.
